The Mathematics Exhibition named as MATHEMATICS EXPO held on January 31, 2024, by the first and second-year students of the Department of Science at our college was a remarkable showcase of mathematical prowess. The event was inaugurated by Dr Fr Arun Antony Chully CMI, the esteemed principal of the college, adding prestige to the occasion. The exhibition was strategically divided into four distinct zones, each highlighting a different facet of mathematics. The Programming Zone featured innovative projects such as graphs and trends in social media, image compression techniques, a calculator using Python, and Google Page Ranking algorithms. In the Experimental Zone, students displayed projects like sundials, optical illusions, snowflakes, Sierpinski triangles, and pendulum experiments, showcasing the application of mathematical concepts in real-world scenarios.
